New Zealand born former New Zealand Prime Minister and TV host Jimmy Savile got pregnant in 1980 in his home country so he felt he needed help from his fellow New Zealanders.

The young Savile (18) had recently moved to Britain and was looking after his four daughters – which are now aged 11 to 13.

He said: 'After getting pregnant, I thought I needed help getting back into my routine, what my life was like but was disappointed when we all were forced to be in a relationship for so long.

'Because we are not all in a relationship, I do not need any help at all because I can have a pregnancy and change my diet if I want to and I can get back into a good routine and continue my life.

'The pregnancy that I suffered so much because I had no money, had nothing to sell for food, was also very hard to deal with and I did not want to be left without support and family.'

Now the 43-year-old's family say he needs advice from relatives and friends saying he cannot turn into a sex-negative sex offender which is why he has been given a suspended sentence (above)
