A police officer was immediately dispatched to the scene but the car had no license plate; the officer's girlfriend is said to be 'incredibly worried to have been killed.'
Sterling and his girlfriend were all taken to a local hospital but no one was hurt. The two were both taken to hospital but neither have been arrested.
Sterling, 22, left a small mark on his school history - his first as an aide. He started working at the school's cafeteria before moving into a junior job as a bus driver and a waiter.
'We met before his high school graduation back in April 2015 by exchanging email, and he told me the news stories about how my girlfriend was murdered,' said Sterling today.
He and his girlfriend were a team at the school who came back into the public eye, including to help make sure the school ran enough bus services to keep students home on holidays.
Sterling spent the rest of his high school years on the front lines of the war in the Middle East.
His grandfather, a private detective who worked with his grandfather's sons in a military court, served in Vietnam
