Aunt Lauren's Secret Visit -Lauren Phillips POV Taboo
Aunt Lauren's Secret Visit
Lauren Phillips POV Taboo
The day of the school play, I was looking forward to seeing my niece, Chloe, sing her heart out. I didn't expect to see my ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend there.
When I saw them together, I felt like I was going to throw up. I had been in love with him for so long, and he had just casually discarded me like I was nothing.
I knew that I had to get out of there before I broke down in front of everyone.
I quickly texted my best friend, Michael, and told him that I was going to head home. He offered to come with me, but I knew that he had to stay for the play.
As I drove home, I couldn't stop thinking about how much he hurt me.
I wanted to make him feel the same way that he made me feel. I wanted him to regret ever hurting me.
I went to his house, hoping that he would be there. When I got there, I saw that his car was in the driveway.
I walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. I heard him coming towards the door and I tried to think of what I would say to him.
He opened the door and we just stared at each other for a few seconds.
"What are you doing here?" he asked.
"I just wanted to see you," I said. "I want you to know how much you hurt me."
"Lauren, it's not what you think," he said. "It's not what it looks like."
"You're right," I said. "It's worse."
