I knew it was going to be a rough day when my wife told me she was going to be working late. So when the door opened and the delivery guy brought in my favourite pizza, I was overjoyed. That was until I noticed that there was a pizza on the kitchen table with my wife's name on it, and I was missing out on my favourite part.
At first, I thought my wife was playing a prank on me. It turns out she wasn't though, and when I walked into the living room, I saw the door to my daughter's room closed and she was sound asleep. So I grabbed my laptop and sat down on the couch, trying to take my mind off of the fact that I would be having a rough day all by myself.
