Emily Brasil is a young woman who was abandoned by her parents at a very young age and had to fend for herself. She survived on the streets and eventually made her way to New York City. After struggling to find a way to survive, she found a way to make money in the form of erotic writing. She was able to find success as a writer, but still struggled to make ends meet. Emily's luck changed when she was approached by a publisher who asked her to write a book of short stories about her experiences as an immigrant in New York.
