The whole thing began in February 2011, when an unknown group called the YA Project began showing around the club. Over the next few months, several other groups followed along and went on to promote more and more of the YA community through their dance clubs.
The biggest group of YA to show up after the release of the album was the J.F.K. YA group of 2009. Their debut album 'The Night Before', followed almost immediately after releasing. They had already released a few years before the release of their latest album 'The Day After My Wedding'.
With 'Famous' also coming out this summer, both YA and disco fans began to get a bit more interest on the YA website.

With this year's album in hand, YA opened up again and put out their first full-length album as 'Diary Of A Lonely Boy'; it took them three months of pre-production work to start to make it. They were actually supposed to release the album a year prior for free.
