Nerdy faery caught in public view
Two young immigrants from Iran have taken photographs of the man who was caught in public view and uploaded it online to Facebook on Monday.
In the case, a female driver was at around 10pm and tried to escape the crowded bus station in Tehran at 4am.
The driver tried to escape after a minor altercation was broken down by two young men, who reportedly made a joke about his sexual orientation.
The camera and video shows a man sitting over drunk on a bench, and also seen standing beside them with his head in a saunter as his girlfriend tries to pass them by. The driver holds up a cigarette and notices the group laughing.
Iranian police released two CCTV images of the couple but no crime has been registered on their release on Monday night. The incident took place on Sunday at the bus station.
The Iranian consulate said Mr Fazelen and his family arrived after travelling from Iran and had been staying at Mr Ford's flat, a four-star hotel that Mr Ford owns.
The embassy denied he was involved in the offence.
The embassy also confirmed Mr Fazelen was being held in police custody and declined to comment further.
Mr Ford called a meeting to discuss the news following the incident and the woman who uploaded the photograph told the Daily Star she tried to take the photograph as "a kind gesture towards those who have committed some sort of sexual act".
