Nataly Chery

Nataly Chery is a human rights lawyer and an advocate for the rights of migrants and refugees. In her book, The Girl Who Fell From the Sky, she tells the story of how she left her home in Kyrgyzstan, a country in Central Asia, and came to America. She writes about how her life was changed when she arrived in America. She shares the difficulties she faced when she had to learn a new language and culture. She discusses how she feels that the US government has a lot to do to make it easier for people who are coming to America to succeed. In the end, she hopes that she can help make America a better place for immigrants and refugees.
